1. Agreement

These terms apply when you use Norvelen (“the application”). By installing, configuring or running it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

2. What the application does

Norvelen copies files you select from a computer you control into a folder in a Google Drive account you control. It runs on your own machine. It is provided free of charge and without any subscription or payment.

3. Your Google account

To use the application you must authorise it with a Google account. You are responsible for having the right to use that account and to store in it the files you copy. Your use of Google Drive remains subject to Google's own terms and policies, which we neither control nor modify.

The application requests only the drive.file scope, which limits it to files it creates or that you explicitly open with it. You may revoke this authorisation at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the application to:

• copy or store content you have no right to copy or store;
• store material that is unlawful where you are, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• circumvent limits, quotas or protections applied by Google or by any other provider;
• interfere with the operation of any system or network.

5. Your data and your responsibility

You choose what the application copies and where it puts it. We do not receive, hold or have access to those files. Keeping your own copies of anything important, and verifying that copies completed as you expect, remains your responsibility.

6. No warranty

The application is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will run without interruption or error, that every transfer will complete, or that it will remain compatible with future changes to third-party services.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for any loss of data, loss of profits or business interruption arising out of or connected with your use of the application — whether or not we were advised that such damages were possible.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Third-party services

The application depends on Google Drive and the Google APIs. Those services are operated by Google, may change or become unavailable, and are governed by Google's terms. We are not responsible for their availability, behaviour or pricing.

9. Termination

You may stop using the application at any time by revoking its access and removing it from your computer. We may discontinue the application, or any part of it, at any time.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the application after a change means you accept the updated terms.
